Back in June I received an order for tiny veggies made from gumpaste for Wendy, an October bride to be. We've communicated all this time and I mailed her order today. 200 veggies for her Cupcake Garden; to be served at the wedding this coming Sunday the 26th.
Wendy chose 12 different veggies to complete her vegetable garden look: Carrots, peas, lettuce, cauliflower, potatoes, beets, squash, eggplant, artichokes, tomatoes, purple cabbage, and corn.
I think it's an awesome idea. Here's an example of the finished effect.The little fondant cupcake veggies sit atop cupcakes with chocolate icing and sprinkles of cake crumbs. They're then placed in rows to simulate a garden in process.
